 There are two public parks and the Shreveport Yacht Club in the Cross Lake area. 
 Shreveport-Bossier City, known for its casino friendliness, has also become one of the most attractive and busiest locations in the country for feature films and television production. They are in competition with Austin, Texas for the Hollywood South nickname! While moving around the city, you may just run across a movie set in production. Mansfield Studios, Stageworks of Louisiana, Robinson Film Center are a few names that are in operation.
